Last updated: 2026-07-07
Information we collect
- Account information such as username, display name, email address, and hashed password.
- Interaction data you create, such as favourites, likes, comments, preferences, and account deletion requests.
- Necessary technical logs such as request time, IP address, User-Agent, errors, and security audit records.
How we use information
- To provide login, account management, favourites, likes, comments, and preference sync.
- To maintain service security, troubleshoot issues, limit abuse, and improve search and page experience.
- To process correction, privacy, account deletion, or contact requests you submit.
Local sign-in state and public content
After sign-in, the browser stores necessary login state for account features. Comments may be publicly displayed on related pages; favourites, likes, and preferences are handled as private account data by default.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell users personal information. To operate the service, data may be processed by storage, search, hosting, logging, or security infrastructure. We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security audits, resolve disputes, or meet applicable requirements.
Your choices
- You can update profile information, manage preferences, or request account deletion in account settings.
- You can log out and clear locally stored browser sign-in state.
- To access, correct, or delete account-related information, contact us at support@whatsav.com.
Security
We use HTTPS, password hashing, access controls, and least-privilege practices to protect data. No internet service can promise absolute security, so please keep your account credentials safe.
